  • Blind Tastings – July 7, August 4, September 1

    On the first Thursday of the month, we will offer a blind tasting of a specific varietal.  Tasting wines blind, without knowing the winemaker, the winery, the price or seeing the label is a great way to develop your palate, discover new wines and make your own decisions about price indicating your preference for wines. Welcome splashes are poured at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $30+tax and include appetizers and 6 wines to sample. Wine Club members and industry folks, please call April at 509-786-1000 ext. 204 to purchase your tickets and receive your discount. Please note: Tickets are required to be purchased in advance, in order to have wines pre-poured and ensure enough food. Tickets are transferable in advance, but non-refundable.   • Casual Culinary Series – Heirloom Tomato Extravaganza July 21

    Theme: Heirloom Tomato Extravaganza (menu subject to change) Heirloom Tomato & Cucumber Pico de Gallo Gorgonzola & Basil Stuffed Tomato with Steak Satay Grandma’s Roasted Garlic Bruschetta We are thrilled to partner with Chef Kristin Martilla Johnson of Martilla’s Kitchen Company to re-launch the Casual Culinary Series with a few exciting changes: Demonstration of three themed dishes: typically an appetizer, entree, and dessert Hearty sample portions of each recipe Take home recipes and lots of opportunity for Q&A with Chef Kristin Includes a glass of wine/beer New! Add a perfectly paired wine flight to complete each course, three 3 ounce pours Time: 6:00 p.m. $45 per person (plus tax) $12 wine pairing (optional, available in advance or at the event)

    The Clore Center is thrilled to bring you this special opportunity to discover some of Washington’s newest up-and-coming winemakers at Rising Stars, a Tasting Experience of Washington’s Newest Wineries. Sip and savor 40 of the newest labels and discover your favorites. You’ll even be able to take home a few bottles of your favorites!     Here’s your chance to compare two French Bordeaux blends alongside two Washington Bordeaux-style blends. Learn how differences in climate, vineyard practices, soil type, and winemaking style can affect the way varietals express themselves and let your palate decide your preference: New World vs Old World.     Join us to compare classic varietals grown and produced around the world against the same varietals grown and produced in Washington. Learn how differences in climate, vineyard practices, soil type, and winemaking style can affect the way varietals express themselves and let your palate decide your preference: New World vs Old World. Tasting begins at 3:00 p.m. $15 per person + tax Tickets must be purchased in advance.
