  • Blind Tastings – May 12th, & June 2nd

    On the first Thursday of the month, we will offer a blind tasting of a specific varietal.  Tasting wines blind, without knowing the winemaker, the winery, the price or seeing the label is a great way to develop your palate, discover new wines and make your own decisions about price indicating your preference for wines. Welcome splashes are poured at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $30+tax and include appetizers and 6 wines to sample. Wine Club members and industry folks, please call April at 509-786-1000 ext. 204 to purchase your tickets and receive your discount. Please note: Tickets are required to be purchased in advance, in order to have wines pre-poured and ensure enough food. Tickets are transferable in advance, but non-refundable.   • Casual Culinary Series – Dad’s Favorites June 16th

    Theme: Dad’s Favorites (menu subject to change) Not Your Father’s Guacamole Left Over Steak & Mushroom Medley Stroganoff Peanut Butter Chocolate Mousse We are thrilled to partner with Chef Kristin Martilla Johnson of Martilla’s Kitchen Company to re-launch the Casual Culinary Series with a few exciting changes: Demonstration of three themed dishes: typically an appetizer, entree, and dessert Hearty sample portions of each recipe Take home recipes and lots of opportunity for Q&A with Chef Kristin Includes a glass of wine/beer New! Add a perfectly paired wine flight to complete each course, three 3 ounce pours Time: 6:00 p.m. $45 per person (plus tax) $12 wine pairing (optional, available in advance or at the event)

  • Deconstructing a Bordeaux-Style Blend – June 18

    Join us in our tasting room to explore the varietals that are approved as components of a Bordeaux-style blend. We will taste and discuss five straight varietals and one stellar example of a Washington-made Bordeaux-style blend. Appetizers included. Saturday, June 18 at 3pm $30 per person for advance purchases (plus tax) $35 per person for day of purchases (if available, plus tax)

  • Legends of Washington Wine Hall of Famelegends

    What makes a legend? They could be: winemaker, winery owner, vineyard developer, grower, researcher, scientist, educator, mentor, philanthropist, or journalist. They must be a Washington resident for more than 25 years and involved in the wine industry for at least 25 years.  Candidates may be working or retired. They might have impacted or made contributions to the community and/ or the wine industry and likely made historical and lasting significance for future generations. A selection committee considers the nominee’s impact on the wine industry, contributions to the community, and their historical and lasting significance for future generations. Nominations for the 2016 Legend are now open. The nomination deadline is December 30th.
